Our shop is 40 x 48 x 16, no insulation under concrete, minimal insulation in walls and ceiling. We heat it with an LP 50 gallon water heater. Keep it 50-60 degrees, fine if you are working. Rarely shuts off in January and February. Not sure if it would pay to put in a boiler.
