Milford, IL | No special connectors, just cut and splice. Butt connectors work fine, wire nuts, engineer by inventory. No need to solder anything, unless your radio is exposed to rain or salt brine. As Nebfarmer mentioned, make sure the power supply comes from a 12v keyed source, that way radio cant kill the battery if left on with key switch off. Most radios will have a constant 12v supply wire to 'remember' clock settings, radio presets, etc. | |
