I'm planning to put the boiler in my shop (45x60) this fall. I got the bid from the local plumbing and heating and it was $10,000. That included labor (I can do it myself) but it was more than a little more than I had in my budget. Those of you that have had the Menards units in for a while, do you like them? I could replace them a couple times for the difference.
I have a menards panel for both my basement/garage, and 40x60 shop. There were connected to a 12kw electric boiler. I have been satisfied with them. Because of the rate for electricity went up, I am switching to a gas boiler. I did all the installation on both and saved quite a bit over a commercial heating contractor. I think I have about $3000 in it.
