You can use it as a gps source if you have a case combine with a Pro600/700 monitor (or JD with JD yield sensors and monitor). If your combine does not have any yield sensors installed on it then you should have a look at the Yield Elite monitor from Loup Electronics or the FarmTRX system. Both are good systems that are a relatively inexpensive way to get older combines yield mapping. The Loup system might be able to use the GPS signal from the 500, but that would be a question for Loup.
