No sweeps, my problem is getting it to the rotor not through it. Our later 67 is better than the early one but I still quit at night because I get tired of backing out tough beans
As said below, the S9 greatly improved that set of problems. Sweeps and the feed improvements take care of feeding, and then the green stems once you get them to the rotor, not to mention the higher torque torque limiter on the newer machines. Depending on what year the S67's are, they could still have the old one.
Another nice upgrade from the older S series is the perforated cascade pan. Much easier to get a clean sample in high yielding corn. Have had guys switch from S7's and S8's without that, and now they tell me that the S9 is the combine they have been wanting for years. It's that different.
