McCanna, ND
I looked at A LOT of different greases and their specs a month or two ago. I had been using Cenex blue guard 500 which was okay for bearings but it didn’t last in pins/bushings worth a hoot. I finally settled on farmoyl poly supreme grease. It has a high dropping point at 520 degrees, a 60lb timkin load test rating, but the four ball weld test was impressive at 500kgs, with a 100LWI. That is approaching a straight 5% moly grease numbers.

Deere polyurea only had a 45lb load rating plus they contract out their oil/lube which didn’t interest me. I looked at TRC 880 and they had a crazy 100lb timkin load rating but the four ball really suffered at only 315kgs and a super low dropping point at ~300 degrees.

I haven’t had enough time to decide if I like the farmoyl poly supreme yet but I will say it looks pretty promising as of now.
