SE VA/NE NC
Been using deeres sd polyurea grease for a decade or more thinking it was good for all uses. Looking back though, i never really have had great luck with bearings. The less I grease the better.

Anyway, lately ive been noticing on my geringhoff head how quickly the grease is turning to tar. I grease the snapping roller nose bearings daily and its always black tar coming out. Ill attach pics or whats going in, and coming out, daily. Granted those bearings have some play in them and probably have excess heat currently and maybe some metal, but it just doesnt seem right. Used my employees gun today and he had a blue grease that was very gooey or stringy, seemed a lot wetter than the polyurea, like it would lube better but may push out easier when hot?

So i know to avoid moly on bearings. What do you recommend. Using Claas LP2 or 3 in the autoluber in the combine, cant remember which.
