coast of Maine | I believe its McIntosh spelling wise,Which are very crisp and tart are good but as the season wanes there are several that are great at their peak.Here our Honey Crisp is not as sweet as southern areas so people here enjoy it better than the real sweet ones.One of the better are Mutsu(crispin ) but not til almost November. When ripe Its green as green gets but crisp enough to pull out your teeth,,real teeth,hehe | |
