Or really do it right and put a JD 893 head on it. If truly serious of making a great combine do a good job put a good head on it. 3000 would be close to the JD head in performance with the right mods. If the 893 is adapted to the combine properly and in good running shape it just work's. I've ran all the heads listed in the past except the 1183 1163 I did though. Just to get started Id use what he has 1183. To Harvest good and make it fun get the 893 on that combine and enjoy it.
