we did that for 2 years and then found a 2 year old 883, the 1183 worked fine but we noticed it ran faster on the xp that the 8570 we thought it did better on the stalks, we ran it like that for 2 year it was 10 years old when we got rid of it got it in 93 and it 03 we traded it off, we liked how the 883 chewed up the stalks better, but the 1183 went through down corn better!
