Thick plastic box liner or pond type liner. Bout 1/8" thick or so. Fabric is a waste. Stuff grows through from the top or pushes up through the bottom. Don't bother using 6mil black plastic, like we use for the silage pile either. It will keep things at bay, longer than the fabric, but it will still poke it's way through.
