If I understand what you are saying those bearing holders are supposed to be part of the whole feeder not loose from it.
Yes they are part of the feeder house and you can see them move side to side on the combine. You can actually move the feeder with a pry bar side to side. The problem is it works its way to one side and pinches the door underneath so it comes open when you raise the head. The door has a lip that needs to fit in between the side of the feeder and the side of the combine and when the feeder slides over there's no room for it |
