Iowa | What's the moisture?, I like weighing the grain. I'm finding 8-12 oz of grain on alot of ears this year. Seem like a factor to divide by of 1.45 has been with 5 bushel when a person weighs ears around 30% corn. When we had are silage appraised this year the company used a ear weight method of 1/1000 of an acre multipled by 11.87 which is higher then last year's factor of 10.37 if I looked at the paper right. | |
