Nw Iowa
A lot of ethanol plants still shut down or were shutdown for 30 -60 days or more. Almost no bids here till around end of May or first part of June. Corn just doesn’t magically disappear. In our area Lakota still shut down. There is a fair amount of corn out there. I also think guys with enough storage are going to hold on to what they can as we are on edge of some dryer areas and than the derecho, there is hope for a decent basis and some carry that may get us to alittle profit yet on remaining 19 bushels.
