I guess my great Uncle actually.
This was many years ago before when the only option to unlock a car door was with a key. He was in his late 70s. He came out of a store and unlocked the car door with his keys. Put the key in the ignition...wouldn't work.
Flummoxed, he tried and tried until he turned it a little too hard and it breaks the key off.
A few moments later a lady walks up and asks what he is doing in her car?
Turns out they had almost identical cars and somehow the same key combination worked in both of their the doors. The ignition obviously didn't match.
He had to pay to have her car towed and repaired.
Many laughs over that one. I had 63 Chevy a friend of mine had a 61 Chevy. Our keys were interchangeable . |
