Nc Ks. | I think back to last year and all the planting problems, late planted corn, mudded in corn, prevented planted acres and the thought that corn was headed higher. Than harvest rolled around and read right here of guys saying better than expected. USDA comes in (right or wrong) with big yield average and look where corn has traded since. This year sounds like planting was timely and conditions excellent. Yes there are problems in places as usual, and the wind took out many acres. But the other side is places like a good size area around me are going to have way above average yields. So when you add up the positives and the negatives, are we going to be worse off than a year ago? I'm thinking not. Just my opinion, worth what you paid for it. | |
