Subject: RE: Ironworker Reviews

southern minnesota
I have an Edwards 55 ton iron worker. no complaints in 8 years of having it. I also build my own hog gates, that is what i bought it for but now it gets used for everything else that you can imagine. i now only drill a hole if i can't remove the piece and get it in the iron worker. i looked at the Iroquois and the built in press would be nice but i see the flat iron shear is at the top. just remember you have to lift what you are cutting up that high to cut it and a 12 inch wide 1/2 inch thick by anything longer that a couple feet is very heavy. even a 20 foot piece of 1/4 by 2 inch flat is enough sometimes. the edwards also has one station that you can change for different attachments. ie. nibbler, small bending break and i think a few others. any questions feel free to contact me Justin.
