I'm a little confused about manual by-pass valve you guys are talking about. The rake is powered by the hydraulic pump correct? The transmission pump is a totally different pump correct? The same oil supply in the transmission, differential case correct? Constant flow for the rake would have nothing to due with transmission, other than making the oil warmer, hotter than normal. Sure agree, something wrong with set up, repair. Don't buy the first comment, clutch disk in backwards, how could that be.
