I can take all the compressed air I want to my S8 (USB-C) but it usually doesn't get it clean. I need to use a very fine pick to pick out the compacted dirt in the charging port. Sometimes a plastic toothpick works but last time I had to use a needle. Power off the phone before sticking anything metal into it...and be careful.
