I think you may have something this time despite you not giving a single reason of explanation of why you are giving a short sell recommendation nor giving any educational or discussion value to the forum, as usual. John
you missed the very first statement i made about the short... "shorting based on chart pattern alone"
Ive traded 1000s and 1000s of times, analyzed each and every trade... spent countless hours refining my hypothesis...calculating probabilities/sharp ratios. cross referenced each trade with multiple variables to determine various times, structures,symmetry,ratios, volume. developed rules in conjunction with prevailing market forces for that minute,hour,day,week using advancing/decling issues / volume.
In order to explain myself, so the people on this forum(farmers no less)... could understand my reasoning for shorting or going long a certain stock or commodity, would involve countless hours of explaining and answering questions multiple times.
While i appreciate your reasoning and thoughtful analysis for shorting ITW, none of that would apply to me.
