Question motivated me to look up 2 main funds. As of yesterday total stock index which is on a downward correction up 3.91% on the year total bond index up 7.16% on the year. You may do better trading you may not. some dividend funds are doing better but cost more to get into and maintain. I'm big on simplicity.
