Subject: RE: Question for sweet corn lovers

King City, Mo
We did the ambrosia for years. Seemed like any time the wind blew it went down....(pioneer genetics i think)

So went with Pursuit this year. It's a triple sweet that's RR/LL/BT and has the viptria trait package as well. We shuck and silk alot of corn for customers and I found one bug all season and never sprayed for bugs. There are days where we hand shucked 2-7 protein tubs (8-10dz per tub) and never found a bug. I shoulda kept track of how many dozen went out shucked and silked but didn't but it has been a huge amount and i've got more orders when patch 10 gets ready.

only thing i didn't like about pursuit was that its 80-82 days which means the season didn't start as early as it could have. So i'm thinking of adding an acre of earlier corn for 2021 to jump start the season.

we had several people comment about how this was the best corn ever this year. we got a few of those comments when we had ambrosia but prob 4x as many comments with this.
