Maybe being raised middle-class has me confused, but I fail to understand what appeals to the ultra-wealthy class about having a giant house like that. What do they use that much space for? I can’t imagine residential activities that could possible use all that square footage.
A development is being built near where I work. The houses are all 6,000 square feet or more and start at $680,000. There is approximately ten feet between houses. Nowhere near a build like this, but I still scratch my head.
