| when a 16 year old is making thousands of dollars a day selling drugs on the street , you are not going to convinse them that going to work for 15 dollars an hour at a real job is a benefit to them, this is generations of destructive mind set that is going to take decades to improve , not a short term easy fix, it starts with self respect and respect of others, and none of this has been taught or learned , I know this is hard to accept but an element of these people are nothing more than wild animals and need to be treated as such, they are dangerous and do not value their own life let alone yours, If their children were removed at birth and raised in a positive environment is the only way to change this cycle. sad to say but this will not go away and no amount of money is going to change it.
