There are guide plates that can wear out and then the corn doesn't flow in like it should. The cutting blades and cleaners can wear out to. Has it been 'gone through' before you're purchasing it? We ran an orbis 600 with a 960 chopper. We ran it in 15" rows so we were usually doing 15 or 16 rows in a pass.
