Ontario Canada | We have always wanted to either use some liquid Alpine or mix Map with the seed but with the price of wheat, cost of fertilizer wondering if its really worth it or not for 5-8 bu/ac, for the extra cost involved it hardly pencils out, on our sands here we feed the wheat well with 300 lbs Urea and 100 lbs Potash, doubt the extra cost of Map would pay, i know all the experts say it will but pretty much year after year we never seem to get those high yields on the sand grounds. | |
