Coldwater, Michigan
Dan,

First of all if you broadcast the MAP, I wouldn't get too concerned about the incorporation. The drill wiil accomplish that just fine. However, U of Guelph, Ridgetown, Alpine Plant Foods, and numerous organizations have been able to show a dependable significant difference to placement of "P" with the wheat seed compared to broadcasting it. The are a lot of years of data to support that. If I remember correctly it usually ran around the 7-8 BPA range in favor of the seed placement. There were some studies at the time I was familiar showing reduced rates of MAP seed placed had a nice advantage to broadcast MAP. And the liquid usually turned out better even in Guelph's own studies.

Add the numbers up and see where you wind up.
