They say August rains make the bean crop. I am in EC Nebraska in a dry area. My dryland beans averaged 67 bushel last 6 years. I gonna say they will do 40 at best and now no moisture in the 7 day for the whole bean belt.My beans are 10 days ahead of last year. What percent of bean belt has adequate moisture? I have some beans turning yellow. Any rain after 7 days is gonna be too late.
