I guess I work for a "cheap Charlie" company and two of the hardest sells for me are the custom applicator and the middle level manager.The custom applicator doesn't care what the chemical costs because the customer pays for it and the applicator gets the "perks"from the chemical company.The middle level manager is pretty much the same,it's not his money and he wants the hats,jackets and free lunches that his boss is really paying for.I bid a county wastewater generic Dual at about a $12000 saving for the county but the middle level manager buys brand name because it's not his money but he gets the perks.
