E.Central MN | Maybe the engineers at Deere/etc have a plan in mind to put even bigger heads on those mega combines. Maybe 50' isn't the max. Perhaps adding computer controlled hydraulic drives to propel two sets of 40' draper heads to match the 80' drills for the guys that have acres and acres of wide open flat land to get across. Would probably work better in S. America's mega farm environment though they probably have an easier time finding combine operators. | |
