Central SD | That's the reason for my Farmworks post above. After staring at an Ipaq screen for 3yrs. while waiting for JD to come with a GS2 type screen, I was really excited to get our 2600's. For the most part, what's available to use on the GS2 works really well. I don't know why so many features are still grayed out on the display for sprayers.
-No Sprayer vehicle monitoring, but it monitors our 9420 4WD vehicle.
-Can't define a task,tank mixes or application of multiple products on my 4720, but it has no problem monitoring our air cart's fertilizer and wheat meters. It also can handle our corn planter's starter fert gallonage and corn seed pop accurately.
-In Apex download times vary, takes forever with sprayer and planter maps, but yield maps download fast with the same size of file.
-In Apex, how come the product application map doesn't show up on the reports, just a blank boundary of the field.
-A corrupted file in Apex gets to the display and messes things up for the field containing the corrupted file.
Why am I asking you guys these questions? You don't know either. JD probably doesn't know. Just wondering if anyone else has these same issues-complaints that I do.
JD needs to partner with a 3rd party software company and come out with something that works. I don't want to fight this thing for 5 years while JD gets things fixed.
