far sNSW , Australia
SNSW right new Vic border, used to be the wet edge of wheat belt. Wettest farm wheat and canola still lots of potential. 50 km NW of there our drier farm(normally 21 inch annual rain), wheat and canola going backwards rapidly. Some wheat is touch and go whether it will get its heads out before it dies. Canola mid flowering, areas going orange instead of yellow, which means we're in trouble. As well as bad prices this year, dairy farmers in strife so not much of market for hay and silage, which got us out of trouble last 3 years. Brother in law 400 km north at Parkes are just as bad.
