SE Nebraska | Didn't leave from home place yesterday and left to save big money today, and boy did the sins from earlier in the season show their ugly face again. A lot of yellow spots showing up around here where the corn was stunted earlier in the season(talking May timeframe) corn is good at hiding it's problems. Will be interesting when combines start to roll. Just my opinion but I think there will be a lot of disappointment to come. Lots of sulfur issues around. I hope I am wrong because as a farmer I always want the best yields possible. We have had perfect moisture for corn the entire season, could use a good inch in the next week or two to pack on the soys. | |
