Do away with the husking beds and a regular corn picker is already pretty close to what a commercial sweet corn picker would be for cannery corn. Fresh market sweet corn is picked by a very different row unit or hand picked to avoid damaging the ears since they can’t be allowed to overripen and there’s no opportunity to trim and discard damage like with cannery corn.
Converting a corn picker to sweet corn????
