I wound up with ten coons in five nights ( also a 'possum and two skunks). Must have gotten all the coons as there is no new broken stalks with eaten ears. My traps are Pied Piper brand baited with marshmallows. http://piedpipertraps.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1&sort=20... I use the 14"X14" model. If it looks like you are having a lot of damage , one trap is not going to be enough. Get at least three. I have 6 of the traps bought over the years. Two years ago I bought some of the dog proof traps... https://flemingtraps.com/dp-coon-traps.html and caught a few coons, but one morning all that I had in a trap was a coon's foot. I've never tried the fly bait but from what I read on AgTalk, it must work and could get you much relief in one night.

Flash!!! Just went and checked traps and had another 'possum. It is a momma with its belly pouch full of young ones, looked to be at least five or so best I could count little tails hanging out of the pouch.

Edit: I left the possum in the trap and trap on back of my truck parked in the shade of trees. I walked by it a while ago and all the babies were out of the pouch with momma possum asleep. Made a picture and I believe there are 8 babies.
