far south central iowa | We are getting dry. My monroe county farm has been getting some small rains. The day albia got 2.5 inches, it got two tenths. Most ground is in northeast appanoose county and while we arent hurting yet, we are needing rain soon to maintain the yield potential we have. This cool weather has bought us some time. Just so frustrating to see how bad the weather models have been, even 12 hours out to just end up with sprinkles. Ever since that tropical storm came thru the first of june, it has struggled to rain. | |
