east - NY, PA. mid Atlantic, NE has many areas very dry, very hot, some ok where Thunderstorms camped out. less than 2" here all of June and July. Thank God for heavy soils here, but stuff is stressed and yields taking a hit. Saw some 3' corn 30 miles from here yesterday, mostly yellow spikes - a total loss.
