North Central Illinois | Just wait. Things had pretty well calmed down around here and then the weather got nice and people just decided to go ahead and do what they wanted with no precautions. Now the numbers have risen significantly. Businesses that people bragged they could go to without wearing a mask are now shutting down to clean or just plain shutting down because people started getting sick. The DMV in one neighboring town is closed for two weeks because several people tested positive. In defiance of the state's policy for masking in public places the employees did not were masks and they did not implement protocols that were designed to protect customers. If they weren't state jobs I would imagine the manager would be getting fired. | |
