NC Iowa | Dr Fauci testified before Congress. Ok to shut down church. mask mandates at Walmart, ect. ,but does not want to mandate masks for the protesters in Portland and elsewhere. Kind of exposed his beliefs.

North Central Illinois | That might be the case if they have a vaccine ready by November. I am skeptical of having an effective vaccine for it by then or maybe ever. Short of a vaccine by then the virus will not magically disappear after the election. There was a lot of conspiracy type talk back in February and March of how this whole thing was invented to destroy Trump. Only the most paranoid and radical are still tooting that horn. Hell, I think even Trump realizes that it is not something that was made up to drive him from office. If the Corona virus causes Trump to lose the election it would be about the only positive thing to come from it. |

Big deal, they closed the competitions stores down. Only the big box stores were allowed to be open and all the small town independent stores and lumber yards were forced to close. How was that fair to local people.

I can’t shake the cough though. I’ll go a half hour without coughing and then something will start it and I’ll hack until I get a cough drop.
Went by the doctors office yesterday afternoon to maybe get some steroids prescribed but he was gone home early after recently recovering from Covid-19. Other practice in town where my kids go, the doctor has been on a ventilator but seems to be improving now. Those guys are in a dangerous profession!

Easily Less than 10. Every now and then you are around some A-hole who coughs in your face, but very rare. Never been spat or sneezed upon. But masks are #1 all about feelings and #2 a Political signal.
Just search out all the nuts on video losing their minds over someone without a mask on or someone who doesn't stand on their circle in line. People as a whole demand the illusion of safety much more than any kind of actual freedom. |

Check out the thread above concerning livestock and corona viruses......that’s what I’m talking about. I think masking up to go to town isn’t going to bring my immune system down to zero. |

who said it was made up? can't something real be exploited for gain? Never let a good crisis go to waste? It sure kind of seems like it, one of mn state senators was investigated because he spoke up about the way case's were being reported, he is a dr, he was cleared a few days ago, things like this make you wonder. |

They are doing so out of concern for their employees and the public due to rising cases in the area. I think maybe they are being proactive hoping to avoid a shutdown order from the governor. |

It's sad I talked to some of the small stores owners that had to close and most said they got zero to next to nothing in government help. Mainly to fo fact they didn't have huge incomes to qualify. Others that stayed open got tens of thousands of aid.
She got nothing....this is driving some of the final nails in the coffin of small town and small business America. |
