My baler has the "soft core" option which is set at 24" so the center of the bale is made at a lower pressure/density setting than the rest of the bale. I'm not worried about getting a spear in the bale but find the soft core really helps bale feeding in very high moisture baleage. I decided to wrap these bales.

The tractor is my first with a cab. A 2016 NH TS6-140 mfwd which I got a very good deal on. A much better tractor for baling than my 20 year old 100 hp open station 7610!
