Why do alot of farmers feel it is ok to steal technology from a company that has spend millions developing it? I am a farmer that use to save seed from non roundup beans, but since the rr gene has been put in place and all the fines it isn't worth it. If you all are so upset with Monsanto why do you buy their products? If saving seed is so important to you why don't you spend the money and develope your own seed?

How have farmer's not developed their own seed? How were the original varieties developed?

Charging for a gene is fine, but it travels both ways. If they get to charge that much for the 1(or the few they put in the plant) then we should be able to charge for the thousands developed over years of careful selection.

Just sayin'.
