Strathcona, mn | It’s called a Lourdes coupler. A versatile dealer will be cheaper than at a new holland dealer. I had a 9880 go through 2 in 4 years. Found out that there was a bulletin years ago on the 80 series about engine alignment. There is supposed to be a “tool” for it but I couldn’t locate one. Used a square, straight edge and ruler to figure out it was out of alignment. I ended up having to put washers under the front engine mount to raise engine and bring shaft into alignment. If you take the shaft off you shouldn’t have to man handle it into alignment at all. It should easily go between tranny and flywheel. And yes, the slip splines in The driveshafts can wear. If they are loose then replace. | |
