One way to view the under performance of the CFAP program, I believe is only at 40%, is that there isn’t a bunch of old crop left.

Everybody is hitting the limits. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a coop, llc, partnership, or any other agreements all payments go on your ss# not the entity. It was a joke for the livestock guys. Most of them farm also and likely hold a majority of last years crop stocks as feed so the money is prorated accordingly. 6.5 of the 16 billion has been paid out.

What’s dumb is that there are limits on entities that can easily be reached long before the individual owners are maxed out.

A 5000 sow hog farm organized as a LLC with 20 owners is limited to $250k whereas if each owner had their own 250 sows they’d have a collective limit of $5 million.

The entity limits make no sense when it all goes back to SS numbers anyway.
