SW Mi. | So my take is, bloat is not a breed specific problem. But rather an individual cow that can be culled along with her female offspring. The steers will be eliminated from these females after harvest. If breeding bulls can also carry this trait, how is a buyer to know or find out about this problem. I don't believe any one has this info on EPD's or even considers it when making breeding selections. | |
