We cut alot of dryer earlage as well. Majority is for a 150k feedlot, they are happy with the feed. We quit when its so dusty i cant see the truck from the chopper, then hit it again in the morning.... As they said above it is hard to get a crew away from silage because thats what pays the bills for us. Earlage pays us about 1/2 What silage does.
$70 a acre earlage-$140 acre corn-they put the fuel in-I have large wagons and no drivers-hope no one calls! |
