No education but I do the same as you. Do not depend or figure on any gov' payments of any kind, always just a bonus or that i can pay myself something or pay down debt. Who knows the other operator's game, maybe they are good on the board making money, maybe they have a lot of paid for land or run a lot of acres and can get cheaper inputs. Maybe they don't have a good hold on financials and are 'hoping' things turn around or don't want to face reality.
