Winkler, Manitoba Canada		We have shielded direct earth burial Cat5 cable buried all over our yard. Up to 430' on one run. I know, not approved. Probably some speed degradation, but still quite usable. Pretty sure the last we buried was Cat6E. All of it was buried in the same trench with our powerlines.
