Subject: Well It Happened Out West

nw kansas
My part of the world thought it was in the corn belt yesterday. Was farming and clouds started building after dinner and had sprinkles and lighting and thunder at 2:00pm. Stopped at 5:15 this morning and had between 3 and 8 inches of rain and two foot of lighting. 15 hours of hard lighting and thunder will make your life hell when trying to sleep. Flooded every creek and draw in sight, water everywhere. That was on a 20% chance of rain, tonight heavy rain likely. I thought I would never say this ater going thru a drought but I hope we dont get any rain tonight. It even hailed again I hope we get this corn picked and wheat drilled.
