The Internet | Our 8000 series tractors have only ever done hard work and not once has the transmission on any of them over heated. I've done a lot of road work on the 7480 and two 7618's manly with my foot buried in the floor mat, often with 16 cubic metres of wheat behind me and not once has the transmission over heated. The 7618 I have on the drill will happily sit at 100% load with DTM running the show, with a cool engine, transmisson and cab. They've been on Masseys Manager program, which is an extended warranty. Never had any quibbles over warranty, they even replaced a blower motor because it was squeaking a bit. They do an end of warranty check, and any slight issues get rectified. My opinion is that the 7600's are wearing the hours better than the MX135 I had and that was an excellent tractor. That John Deere 6800 I had for a year was slightly younger than the Masseys I have now and had a whole host of issues with it. The masseys are still on their original batteries. |
