ND | Warranty wasn't dropped or anything just needed 200+ updates to run reliably season after season and apparently that's fine if it is a (at the time) not a major combine manufacturer, like IH, and NH which had the same troubles and I'm sure it hitting during the 80s when money and crops were tight didn't help.
Late 70s money and crops was worth more. If you could sell a new big top of the line tractor for 100k today you would sell that many too,
Our Gleaner/hesston dealer is speedee here, from Glasgow MT, about 3-6 hours away. Agco's official statement on "are we getting a dealer to replace the loss of North America's biggest Gleaner combine and agco parts seller is "Butler runs a truck a couple times a week, just have them bring it" which is a joke. | |
